Denny Park is just a couple blocks away, but isn't so breathtaking, though it's been recently cleaned up more and more. The Seattle Center grounds are very much like a park in a lot of areas and you can hang out at the International Fountain, the Center House, the Fun Forest Amusement Park (complete with rides/games/video games)! Not from Kent/Maple Valley, but I did look at condos in the area a couple years ago, haha...

There is one called Carkeek Park its really nice its got a nice trail and a big feild then a beach. Its really nice, also a Salmon Hatchery thingy. You should go!
